Welcome to a post-Covid year of activities! Your 2023 Board of Directors has been working to bring our club into the 21st Century – with a website!
We are also planning three big events for this year, with these primary goals in mind –
*Promoting social events and camaraderie among our current members
*Increasing our membership with yachting-minded friends
*Raising funds to restore our pier and ramp.

Wednesday May 24, 2023 – Fund Raising Cocktail Event at The Bay Club
Saturday July 29, 2023 – Member Social Fund Raiser at The Point Loma Assembly Hall
Thursday September 7, 2023 – Annual Meeting in the Bixler Bayside Garden
Star Clippers is sponsoring our promotion of a group LPYC Commodore’s Cruise in the Caribbean – date and itinerary to be announced soon. You can purchase tickets to WIN A CRUISE FOR TWO on a Star Clippers cruise of your choice. At the May and July events, there will be a presentation on Star Clippers cruises, along with other fun activities and door prize drawings.

There will be a nominal charge to attend these fund-raising events, which will include light fare and a chance at door prize drawings.
The winning cruise ticket will be drawn at our annual meeting on September 7.
We hope to have our website up and running soon and will post more information about our events there. This year, we are also encouraging our members to contribute to the yachting community by volunteering at other local club charity events. More information on how to participate in these worthwhile events will be on the website.
