Garden Party Auction September 2024

Overlooking the La Playa dock in Commodore Bixler’s garden, we held a live auction to raise money for much-needed repairs to our pier.  We raised close to $5000!

Star Clippers Sailing Adventures 2023

La Playa Yacht Club and Star Clippers joined forces to offer a Unique Sailing Experience to one lucky winner.  Three fund raising events were held in 2023 and tickets for the giveaway were sold at each gathering.  About 200 tickets were sold for a 7-day sailing on Star Clipper or Star Flyer in the Caribbean or Costa Rica for two passengers.

Almost $5000 was raised for much needed repairs to our dock.  Thank you to Beth from Star Clippers and the entire board and organizing committee for making these events so successful.
