The La Playa Yacht Club was founded in the early 1930s by a small group of eight neighborhood families, La Playa Yacht Club maintains one of the oldest piers in La Playa Cove, within the Shelter Island Yacht Basin. We are located on property leased from the San Diego Unified Port District.
