Dear Members,
We are thrilled to share some wonderful news following a presentation by Commodore Mike Bixler and Sally to the Board of Directors of Southwestern Yacht Club on June 25, 2026.
As a gesture of friendship and neighborhood cooperation, the Board of Southwestern Yacht Club has voted to extend dining & beverage privileges to members of La Playa Yacht Club, effective immediately!
What This Means for You:
The Privilege: LPYC members are welcome to enjoy the “Chart Room dining facilities and bar services” at Southwestern Yacht Club on a daily basis.
Guidelines: These privileges are subject to their normal operating hours and club policies. This arrangement will be reviewed annually.
Requirements for Entry:
You must present your current La Playa Yacht Club membership card whenever utilizing their food and beverage facilities.
LPYC will provide them with a current membership roster so staff can verify eligibility upon arrival.
We are incredibly grateful to Commodore Goodrich and the leadership at Southwestern Yacht Club for their warm hospitality and cooperative spirit. We look forward to a fantastic, closer relationship between our two clubs!
